Imported hammer-crusher hammers suffered short service life and occasional catastrophic breakage under high-impact loading in cement clinker and mining applications.

Solution

KING CASTING produced hammers from proprietary KC-5X high-chromium cast iron, delivering hardness above RC60 and tensile strength greater than 530 MPa. A controlled heat-treatment process ensured a homogeneous microstructure that resists impact breakage.

Result

Customers reported two to three times longer service life than imported equivalents, with reduced replacement frequency and unplanned downtime — shipped from Taiwan on stable four-to-twelve-week lead times.
